Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services within K-12 schools in Memphis, TN, supporting students across all grade levels from Pre-K through 12th grade. This full-time, contract position requires delivering comprehensive evaluations, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with educators and families to enhance student communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students in Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational goals of the school.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) Certification for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Tennessee Board of Health License.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively across varied age groups.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
